Paul Cowan

Paul is a veteran of over 25 years both in emerging markets and special situation/event trading. Paul helped build Churchill Capital Asia to the best boutique event trading house in Asia before creating the event team for Aviate Global together with James Moir in 2009.
Paul has previously worked for Morgan Stanley , Cresvale Limited , Societe Generale, where he was Head of Emerging Markets and Churchill Capital and has experience in trading equities, derivatives and convertible bonds.

 

James Moir

James has been working within the Asian equity space for 20 years. He started his career in 1995 as an equity trader at Phileo Allied, specializing in the Singapore and Malaysian markets. James then relocated to London and was the Head of Sales at JM Sasson focusing on the Asia ex-Japan markets.
From 2000 to 2009, James setup Churchill Capital Asia – which became the leading boutique event equity broker within Asia. More recently, James ran the Special Situations Group at Aviate Global – which was taken over in 2010 and renamed Religare Capital.

 

Jason Page

Financial services professional with 15 years institutional securities trading experience, strong record of revenue generation at both sell and buy side firms. 10+ years of Event Driven trading/analysis experience. Jason joins RCM Special Situations from Kutta Capital, a $250m AUM Multi-Strategy Family Office where he was the Event Driven desk Portfolio Manager. Prior to this, he worked in London with Omni Partners, a $1b AUM Hedge Fund as an US Event Driven Analyst. During his time at Omni Partners, he was responsible for idea generation including analysis and trading of $10-20m positions generating strong returns. Jason was also the Head of Global Trading at Churchill Capital from 2006 to 2011. During his time at Churchill, he managed a team of 4 traders and was part of the European sales team that generated $3m+ a year.
